Financial Aid

Mount Paran Christian School is committed to providing a Christ-centered education for families who seek such an environment. It is also our belief that the educational experience is enhanced through a diverse representation of students.

We recognize that financing an independent school education is a major commitment for families. Therefore, MPCS allocates institutional funds and donor contributions toward a designated fund to offer financial aid assistance for students in need.

Applying for Financial Aid

ALL financial aid applications must be verified through FACTS. Please go to FACTS and complete the financial aid request. Applicants requesting financial aid must return the MPCS financial assistance application (found below) to the school office AND the complete the FACTS tuition aid assessment. Requests will not be considered if either of these are missing.  Please note that you will need your 2014 completed taxes to submit to FACTS.

Families who seek financial aid through MPCS financial aid funds or the through available GOAL scholarship assistance funds only need to complete ONE financial assistance application.

Georgia Special Needs Scholarship

The Georgia Special Needs Scholarship provides eligible students with the opportunity to attend public or private school. MPCS is able to offer support to students with mild learning differences in the areas of Reading, Math, and Language Arts through Resource in a pullout module. Parents may submit a file for a student for a preliminary review including any IEP, psychological education evaluation, 2-3 years of grade reports and standardized test scores. The administration will review the information to provide initial feedback to the parents. In addition to the MPCS eligibility criteria, the following criteria is required from the Georgia Department of Education.

GOAL Scholarship

Available to students transferring from public school.
The Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program provides children throughout Georgia with Greater Opportunities for Access to Learning ("GOAL"). We invite you to discover how, as a qualified student scholarship organization, GOAL is offering students from low-income families opportunities to attend the private K-12 schools.
